Cold Cloisonne - Hand-Wired Method

This method entails adhering copper wire to a very stable substrate, usually 1/2" glass. Pigmented resins fill in the open areas and a protective top coat is added for easy maintenance. You can view photos of this method in the "Work in Progress" section.

The abstract design was inspired by a painting by winery owner Al Braunstein of Diamond Creek Vineyards. The bottle and painting were purchased together at the 2006 Napa Valley Wine Auction.
